Network of Trusted Pregnancy Specialists
If the pregnancy is healthy, and you intend to keep the baby, we can refer you to one of our trusted counselors who can help you plan for the upcoming birth. We can also help you talk with your partner about the pregnancy and what it entails for both of you. If you aren’t sure about keeping the baby, we can provide information about adoption and abortion. However, we do not offer referrals to abortion clinics.
We also encourage all women who come to our clinic to take advantage of our free STI testing services. The CDC estimates that 20% of women have an STI. Some women don’t have symptoms. However, even an asymptomatic STI can endanger an unborn baby’s health and well-being. Women who plan on having an abortion also need STI testing, as having an abortion with an untreated STI could cause pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). This condition can cause blood infections, abscesses, or even infertility. If your STI tests come back positive, we will refer you to a medical professional who can provide the medication you need to clear up the condition.
