Free Pregnancy Testing

A home pregnancy test is not enough for expectant mothers who need to know if the baby is viable, how far along they are in their pregnancy, and identify potential complications that require immediate medical assistance. That is why the Santee Women’s Health Center has kind medical staff to verify the pregnancy and offer an ultrasound. These medical services, which are provided at no cost, are coupled with advocacy to help women assess their options going forward.

For women who are unsure about keeping the baby, we offer both abortion education and information regarding adoption. If complications are identified during an ultrasound, our team will offer an immediate medical referral to a specialist who can address the problem.

Support Classes

The Womens Health Center in Santee is dedicated to meeting women’s needs both during pregnancy and afterward. Our team offers childbirth education to help new mothers prepare for delivery, and we provide parenting classes to help moms learn how to properly care for a new baby while studying and/or holding down a job. We also have a Moms Helping Moms Support Group to ensure mothers of all ages and walks of life have a safe place where they can share their challenges, offer each other practical advice, and build lasting friendships.

Other Services We Offer

In addition to services related to pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting, our team also provides STI testing for Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Syphilis, and Trichomonas. If left untreated, these conditions can cause long-term health problems such as pelvic inflammatory disease and increase a woman’s risk of contracting HIV/AIDS and developing cervical cancer.[1]

Top-tier medical care does not have to be out of reach for women who have a limited budget. Our team offers all services at no cost. All services are confidential, as no information regarding patient visits is shared outside of our organization. Furthermore, unlike regular hospitals and clinics, our medical care providers not only offer medical care but also advocacy and patient education to help women assess their options and choose the one that best meets their current and future needs. We also offer ongoing support to help women as they deal with the challenges of pregnancy and learn how to care for a new life. If you or someone you know would benefit from our services, feel free to get in touch with us at your convenience.
